Welcome to the R&F Foundation!

We are thrilled to extend our warmest greetings to all the visionary souls who have found their way to our NGO’s website. R&F Foundation is a registered Non-Profit Organization dedicated to making a difference in Ghana. With 9 years of impactful operations under our belt, we officially obtained our registration in November 2018.

Our noble mission is centered around empowering the dreams of children residing in rural and deprived communities, helping them realize their educational aspirations. We firmly believe in fostering an environment where children in such communities can flourish, thrive, and stay in school. Through our efforts, we strive to provide educational valuables, games, and play toys that are essential for their growth and development.

Education remains the key to breaking the chains of poverty, but we recognize that schools in rural areas often lack the necessary teaching and learning materials. Additionally, the lack of proper infrastructure puts these children at a disadvantage compared to their urban counterparts.

For young learners aged 3 to 6, their schooling experience is heavily influenced by the availability of teaching aids, playtime, and classroom design. Unfortunately, many schools in deprived areas struggle to provide equal opportunities for playful and organized learning. This restricts the children from having ample opportunities to learn and play, hindering their educational journey.

At R&F Foundation, we believe in making a real difference by offering volunteering opportunities to like-minded individuals and institutions who share our vision. Together, we strive to equip underprivileged schools with essential learning materials, teaching tools, and play equipment. Moreover, we undertake the delightful task of redesigning classrooms, adding vibrant colors and drawings, to create a conducive atmosphere for effective learning.

Over the years, our benevolence has touched many lives. We have provided a computer lab for La-bawaleshie School in 2014, supported children in Ampeni near Elmina in Cape Coast, children in Konko in the Eastern Region, Borstal Home in Accra, Street Children Empowerment Foundation (SCEF), Dimson Int. School, and Sesemi near Abokobi. These are just a few examples of the numerous success stories that inspire us to keep making a positive impact.
