Enhancing the Lives of Children in Deprived Comminities Since 2012
R&F Foundation is a registered Not for profit Organization operating in Ghana. The Foundation has been in operations for the past 6 years but was officially registered in November 2018. Its office is located at 54 Ayaben Street, Adenta Housing Down, Accrain the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The Foundation has 3 directors providing direction and leadership for the organization. The activities of the Foundation are implemented by volunteers who have different educational and professional backgrounds.

Our vision is to support children in deprived communities to stay in school and to love education through providing educational games and plays.
Inspired To Help
Education is one of the most important tools for reducing poverty. However, poor and deprived community schools lack the necessary teaching and learning materials as well as infrastructure which puts them in a disadvantage position.
The role of R&F Foundation is to raise funds from institutions and individuals who share in the same vision, to provide deprived schools with learning materials ,teaching tools ,play equipment and to undertake the redesigning(painting and drawing colour objects ) of classrooms to support and excite the children to stay and enjoy schooling.
Staying in school for children within the 3- 6 age bracket can mostly be influenced by available teaching aid, playing time, classroom design and arrangement. The challenge, however is, most of the schools located within the rural communities do not have the opportunity to experience education in a playful and organized manner. There are no toys for learning and playing. The classrooms for the nursery and kindergarten are not designed in a way to make classrooms attractive for the children. Children, therefore, cannot play and learn the children way.
